Container Haulers come in all types and ages of trucks. Old rattle traps eking out the last few miles to sharp Peterbilts and Kenworths.
I shot this sharp looking Peterbilt I thought was bob tailing but it was actually pulling an empty container chassis. This Kenworth W900 runs for Canada Drayage, one of the larger container haulers. This Western Star pulling two 20 foot containers on the B Train was with "C-TRUCK" who were taken over by Canada Drayage.
This Freightliner has a 40 foot international box on a tridem chassis. It runs for Carmel Transport. This International with the old style "A Train" 20 footer chasses appears to be the entire fleet of TOMMY ROADLINK. The US "SAFER" website shows as 1 truck and 1 driver. - July 2010 This Kenworth COE is run by GRAND VALLEY CARTAGE. I've seen it several times including near the CPR Obico yard on North Queen Street in Toronto, - October 2010
This Freightliner is leaving the EMPTY ANNEX where containers are stored between loads. This older Freightliner is typical of many eking out their last miles hauling containers around the GTA. This International from Oceanland Distributors is likely a Transforce trade in.
Here is a Peterbilt from Proman Transport. This Freightliner from Rail Connect Transport is hauling a 53 foot EMP container,
This Freightliner Columbia hauls for ACE Group. It wears the colours of original owner Elke Tranissport of Langley BC. AxSun is a container hauler from St Laurent QC. They run a large fleet of International Lonestar tractors.
